Some Assembly Required

That seemingly innocent title is actually filled with ominous portent. The realization that at some point I must put this thing together has come crashing down on me over the last few days.

But I’m not nervous. No, not the least. The cabinets will get assembled. One way or the other - crappy or otherwise - they will get put together. There’s no pressure. I don’t feel it at all.

The cabinet assembly will most assuredly not be crappy. It will be sometimes arduous and full of math, like the rest of your projects. But when they're assembled, the cabinets will be gorgeous. I just know they will. Read "The Little Engine That Could" if necessary. :)

On Sept 7th you siad:

Its going to be a big project and I’m very nervous about it. I have a bad habit of being impatient and rushing things at the end. I really need to take my time with this.

Do you think it's time for you to take a day or week-end off.

I think I went through very similar agonies when I took a barn apart, and then tried to re-assemble it into a different, smaller building. "Nothing" could be done, not even get a building permit, until I figured out how I could maximise the use of the available wood. It took me days!
So, I hear ya!

Hang in there...
